Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Simon Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bittor Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier has chosen The Conqueror as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Cole or perhaps it was just good defense by Xavier which made him look bad.
Xavier lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cole circles away quickly and effectively.
Cole tries to work over Xavier's front leg with a kick but Xavier checks it.
Xavier throws a shot from downtown. Cole moves away and avoids it.
Xavier ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cole moves away.
Xavier connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Xavier throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cole shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Xavier pinned against the cage. Xavier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cole is looking to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xavier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cole moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
