Macheda pushes Tyler off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Tyler looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Macheda can't hide his disappointment, as Tyler celebrates the victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Joshua. No joy for Tperez on that attempt.
Joshua avoids the head kick by Tperez.
Joshua throws a nice looking combination but Tperez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Joshua throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tperez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Joshua shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tperez as he jumps to the side.

Oooooh!!! Joshua has knocked Tperez down with a huge combo! Joshua steps away and waves a wobbly Tperez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Tperez Tperez has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tperez closes the distance and clinches up with Joshua, looking for a takedown. Tperez pushes Joshua against the cage but Joshua circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Joshua cracks Tperez's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Tperez slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Joshua can do further damage! This one is done, son!

That was a close second round but I would say that Jose Silva will probably get the nod.
