Rose throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Meeks's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Rose dives in looking to finish as Meeks flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Rose's strikes! Rose is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Meeks's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Meeks was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Mfer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Glenclose under the eye.
Mfer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mfer misses with a two punch combination.
Mfer sizes up Glenclose with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mfer takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Glenclose takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Mfer jabs Glenclose right on the nose. Glenclose blinks but takes it well.
Mfer tests Glenclose's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Glenclose looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Donk. Mfer catches Glenclose right on the button with a cross.
Oh Glenclose is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mfer jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Glenclose shoots in looking for a takedown. Mfer tries to sprawl out of it but Glenclose keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mfer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown attempt by Glenclose or perhaps it was just good defense by Mfer, which made it look bad.
Glenclose seems to have got his legs back now.
Mfer cracks the inside of Glenclose's front leg.
Glenclose goes for a double leg but Mfer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mfer continues to drive forward.
Mfer thuds his right hand into Glenclose's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mfer scores with a punch to the head.
Mfer connects with a crisp jab.
Glenclose takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Mfer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Glenclose sprawling to the canvas! Glenclose rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mfer finish him?!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones Mfer dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Glenclose shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mfer sprawls well. Mfer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Glenclose gets slowly back to his feet.

Glenclose with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mfer to score with a decent uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Glenclose tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mfer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Glenclose somewhat.
Mfer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Mfer lands a left and a right that send Glenclose crashing to the mat, dazed. Mfer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Crunch! Mfer slams his shin into Glenclose's torso.

Mfer cracks Glenclose with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Glenclose looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mfer finish him?
Mfer fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Glenclose to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Glenclose looks to clinch but Mfer throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Glenclose taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
