Gesinger blocks an uppercut.

Humberto Gesinger dominated that round.
That's time! Horse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Gesinger throws an overhand right that lands on Horse's shoulder, as Horse tries to avoid the shot.
Horse shoots for a double leg takedown but Gesinger sprawls well. He's pushed Horse's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Horse counters with a shoot takedown. Gesinger fights it but they end up in guard.

Horse drops back looking for a leg! Gesinger is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gesinger manages to kick Horse off! Horse jumps back into Gesinger's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gesinger controls Horse momentarily but Horse frees himself.
Gesinger has momentary wrist control but Horse slips an elbow through the middle.
Horse chips away with some ground and pound.
Horse passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Gesinger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Horse wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gesinger has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Horse in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Gesinger is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
