The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rancid walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lewis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
It looked like Lewis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Lewis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rancid at a distance.
Lewis scores with a punch to the head.
Lewis uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rancid has time to react.
Rancid gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lewis throws a jab when Rancid was well out of range.
And Rancid tries to counter it with a takedown but Lewis pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Lewis lands a left and a right that send Rancid crashing to the mat, dazed. Lewis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rancid is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lewis cracks Rancid with a left hook right on the temple and Rancid goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Lewis lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Rancid is OK!
