Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magomed Ahmadaliev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steef Steefler!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steefler has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ahmadaliev finds it's way round the side to connect with Steefler's head.

It looks like Steef Steefler has been cut.
Ahmadaliev scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Steefler tries to sprawl but Ahmadaliev drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ahmadaliev scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Ahmadaliev slows the pace down in half guard.
Steefler is trying to maintain the position but Ahmadaliev is very close to passing his half guard.
Ahmadaliev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Steefler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Ahmadaliev is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Steefler doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ahmadaliev.
Ahmadaliev seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Ahmadaliev is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

That has opened up Steef Steefler's cut even more.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ahmadaliev connects with a nice short shot to Steefler's temple.

The cut above Steef Steefler's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Steef Steefler's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Debrine connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Debrine shoots in but Mygroin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Debrine stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Debrine wants it to stay on the feet.
A head kick misses from Debrine.
Debrine dives in and grabs Mygroin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mygroin pushes down on Debrine's head and hops out.

Mygroin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Debrine was covering up waiting for the punch and Mygroin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Debrine looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Mygroin passes into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mygroin felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Debrine working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Mygroin is doing well to defend. Debrine seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Mygroin is forced to tap and this one is over!
