The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
McGregor walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Barnes lands a jab to the head.

and Barnes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Barnes lands a nice shot that snaps McGregor's head back.

Some bone on bone action there as McGregor checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

McGregor seems to have recovered his senses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGregor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Barnes drops McGregor with a beautiful combination! McGregor stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Barnes is looking for the KO!
McGregor throws a poor cross that misses
and Barnes scores with a counter punch that sends McGregor to the canvas! Barnes smells blood - he's punishing McGregor with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! McGregor has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Cage tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Zamana cranks the arm and Cage screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Cage, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Dulin lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Defensor Iii lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dulin circles away quickly and effectively.
Dulin now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Dulin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Defensor Iii misses with a hook. Dulin ducked under it nicely.
Defensor Iii throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Dulin stumbling backwards into the cage! Dulin bounces back off the cage towards Defensor Iii, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Defensor Iii lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Defensor Iii celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

That was a close round but I would say that Scorchio Whitehouse will probably get the nod.
