1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Klaus Hoffmann! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tucker James! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James throws a right and a left that both miss. James is looking to clinch. Hoffmann feints and as James raises his hands in defense, Hoffmann changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. James looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hoffmann puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hoffmann not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hoffmann prevents James from improving his position. Hoffmann is figuring out what he wants to do next. Hoffmann winds up and cracks James with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hoffmann sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. James defending well though. Hoffmann trying to control the action but James is working from the bottom. Hoffmann is controlling the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hoffmann is trying to control. James wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Hoffmann throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hoffmann seems to be working for a kimura but James defends the submission attempt. James is trying to stand up here but Hoffmann is controlling him well. James is trying to maintain the position but Hoffmann is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hoffmann keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from James. Hoffmann throws a sloppy head kick and James moves out of range easily. James lands a nice shot to the body.
James digs a good hook to Hoffmann's body.
Hoffmann is breathing heavily. James tries to clinch but Hoffmann is having none of it. Hoffmann slips a jab from James. Hoffmann throws a series of punches but James moves out of range. Hoffmann displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as James throws out the jab. James thuds his right hand into Hoffmann's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James lands a nice shot that snaps Hoffmann's head back.
It looks like Klaus Hoffmann has been cut. James misses with a jab, cross combination.
James misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hoffmann.
James tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. James dodges the punch combination from Hoffmann.
James scores with a jab to the body. James lands with an uppercut that bounces Hoffmann off the ropes and back into rage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hoffmann walks into a straight right hand from James. James throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hoffmann sees it coming and avoids it easily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts James, as that shot connected.
James cracks Hoffmann with a good jab. Hoffmann closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. James works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. A jab from James finds it's way through Hoffmann's defenses.
Klaus Hoffmann's cut is getting worse. James sizes up Hoffmann with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hoffmann is rocked! Hoffmann stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hoffmann wants it to stay on the feet. Hoffmann moves away from the strike by James. Nice shot lands for James. James lands a jab to the head.
James might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. James tries to clinch up. Hoffmann swats away the attempt to clinch by James.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Klaus Hoffmann's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. James scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hoffmann doesn't seem bothered though. Tucker James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Hoffmann drops his hands momentarily and James takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Hoffmann walks into a straight right hand from James. James cracks Hoffmann with a right hand to the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Hoffmann moves away from the strike by James. Hoffmann circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hoffmann keeps the fight on the outside. James works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Jeez, Klaus Hoffmann's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. James swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hoffmann fails with a takedown attempt from distance. James misses with the combination.
James lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. James connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Klaus Hoffmann's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elvis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Elvis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Elvis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arabi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Elvis looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Arabi tries to get to full guard but Elvis has control of the leg. Elvis stalling. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Let's hope that Elvis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Elvis decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Elvis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Arabi is fending him off so far but Elvis persists. Nope, Arabi circles away and we're back to standing. Elvis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Elvis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Arabi is desperately trying to improve his position but Elvis has a good base and remains in mount. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Elvis controlling the position easily from mount. Arabi sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Elvis with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Arabi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Still in half guard, Elvis seems content to control.

Arabi tries for a takedown but Elvis circles away easily and Elvis counters with a nice double leg into side control. Arabi won't be happy with that. Elvis controlling the position. Arabi is not content to let Elvis control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Elvis is staying tight to Arabi's torso, preventing him from escaping. Elvis working the head with strikes. Arabi being controlled for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Arabi is trying to improve his position. Elvis working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Despite being in the dominant position, Nino Elvis just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Arabi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Elvis counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Arabi! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nino Elvis dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Elvis scores with a takedown into Arabi's guard. Elvis wants to pass the guard but Arabi is keeping the position. Elvis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Elvis looking to improve position, pressing down on Arabi's thigh with his hand. Arabi seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Elvis paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Elvis's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Arabi picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Andreas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Andreas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Andreas defends it easily. Andreas drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Andreas off! Andreas jumps back into Jackson's guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Andreas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Andreas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jackson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

No, Andreas has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted. Andreas drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! Andreas can't keep his opponent in guard - Jackson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Andreas is pressing down on Jackson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jackson gets to his feet. Andreas looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Andreas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanson lands a nice looking body kick. The fight stays on the outside here - Hanson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hanson moves in looking to clinch but Pickens pushes him off. Pickens takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Britten Pickens has been cut. Hank Hanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanson avoids the head kick by Pickens.
Pickens takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Pickens misses with a series of wild punches.
Hanson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hanson has Pickens up against the ropes in a clinch.

Pickens manages to break the clinch.
Hanson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hanson moves into range and clinches up with Pickens. Hanson has had enough of the clinch but Pickens keeps him there for the moment. Pickens breaks from the clinch.
Pickens scores with a spinning back kick! Hanson avoids the head kick by Pickens.
Pickens is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hanson. Hanson darts in and clinches Pickens up against the ropes. Pickens wants to break free but Hanson has control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson has Pickens pressed against the ropes, preventing Pickens from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Pickens escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pickens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Pickens scores with a leg kick.
Hanson scores with a body shot.
Pickens is breathing heavily. Hanson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Hanson tries to clinch up but Pickens circles away and keeps his distance. Pickens takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Britten Pickens's cut is getting worse. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hanson rushes Pickens with punches - Pickens moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Pickens goes down! Hanson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

The fight stays on the outside here - Men looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Killer connects with a looping right hand.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Killer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Men tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Killer with a hook. Killer misses with a wild combination.
Men goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Men tries to clinch up. Men wants to clinch up but Killer keeps it at a distance. Killer throws a series of punches but Men avoids them all with ease. Men has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Killer finds it's way round the side to connect with Men's head. A jab from Killer misses. Killer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Killer connects with a nice looking jab.
Killer swats away the attempt to clinch by Men. Donk. Killer catches Men right on the button with a cross. Men wants to clinch up but Killer keeps it at a distance. Men lands a nice looking body kick. Men avoids the body shot from Killer.

Men closes the distance and clinches. Killer wants to break free but Men has control.
Killer wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Men pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Men is looking to clinch but Killer is avoiding it.

Men breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Men turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Men lands with a slapping head kick. Men tries to clinch there but Killer circles away.

Killer looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Killer takes a knee to the side of the body. Men landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Men is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Killer pulls him back up using the underhooks. Killer has had enough of the clinch but Men keeps him there for the moment. Men crunches a lovely knee into Killer's ribcage. Knees to the body from Men.
Men pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Men tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Killer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Killer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Men wants to clinch up but Killer keeps it at a distance. Killer walks forward, straight into a front kick from Men. Men lands with a thumping leg kick.

Men closes the distance and clinches. Men is trying to drag Killer to the mat but Killer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Haku Men. That's going to take a lot out of him. Men escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Men plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Men with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Men dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Killer. That did some damage!

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Men, right into the meat.
Men connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Killer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Men tries to clinch but Killer is having none of it. Men has taken the fight to the clinch.
Men scores a nice knee to the body.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Men obliges. Men unloads a knee to the mid-section. Killer lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Men scores a nice knee to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Elliente walks into a jab. Elliente thows a left - swing and a miss! Elliente is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A jab from Diaz misses. Elliente tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diaz was well out of range. Poor timing from Elliente. Elliente drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Elliente ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Diaz throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Diaz works Elliente's body with a nice hook. Elliente misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diaz.

Elliente is still on wobbly legs! Can Diaz finish him? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Diaz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Elliente seems to have recovered his senses. Diaz falls off balance throwing a combination
and Elliente counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Diaz Rushes Elliente and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Elliente is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Diaz Piles on the pressure and Elliente crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

It looks like Wellen Dowd has been cut. Dowd has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dowd there as he acknowledges the shot. Logan tries to keep at a distance but Dowd has taken the fight into the clinch. Logan lands a body shot in the clinch.
Logan prevents the takedown attempt.
Logan scores with a shot to the side of Dowd's head. Dowd tries to work over Logan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Dowd lands a nice knee to the body. Dowd is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Logan pulls him back up using the underhooks. A battle for position here, against the ropes. A right hand to the body from Logan.

Dowd goes for a takedown attempt but Logan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Logan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dowd manages to avoid it. Dowd moves away from the strike by Logan. Logan avoids a kick to the body.

Oh Dowd is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Logan lands the left hand. Logan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Good shot there by Logan. Logan cracks Dowd with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Logan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dowd's head. Logan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Logan displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dowd fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Dowd throws a low kick but Logan avoids it. Horrible takedown by Dowd or perhaps it was just good defense by Logan which made him look bad. Dowd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Logan swivels and escapes. Dowd seems to have got his legs back now. A jab lands there for Logan. Logan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dowd. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Logan lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Dowd uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Logan.

Logan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dowd looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dowd walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Logan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. James Logan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Logan throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Dowd stumbling backwards into the ropes! Dowd bounces back off the ropes towards Logan, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Logan lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Logan celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
