The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poika scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Smithian takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Bocano Smithian has been cut.
Poika scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Poika lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smithian circles away quickly and effectively.
Poika connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smithian misses with a two punch combination.
Smithian connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Poika momentarily.
Smithian fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Poika lands a nice leg kick that just misses Smithian's sensitive parts.
Smithian with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Poika to score with a decent uppercut.
Poika lands with a big right hook that stumbles Smithian - he's out on his feet here! Poika follows up with another monster hook that separates Smithian from consciousness! Smithian falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Poika stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Dickenson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dickenson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. SUL manages to get himself to full guard.

SUL is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
