HowGSPSaysIt looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Octavius!
Octavius tries to reverse the position but HowGSPSaysIt maintains control.
HowGSPSaysIt controlling from mount.
HowGSPSaysIt's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Octavius tries to lock up and control but HowGSPSaysIt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Octavius can't escape the position.
HowGSPSaysIt controlling the pace for now.

Poor strikes thrown by HowGSPSaysIt there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
HowGSPSaysIt trying to control but Octavius is having none of it.
Octavius is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

HowGSPSaysIt takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Octavius is in all sorts of trouble here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
HowGSPSaysIt looking to control and managing it successfully.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mattiu HowGSPSaysIt just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
HowGSPSaysIt takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Octavius lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nice takedown defense from HowGSPSaysIt. No joy for Octavius on that attempt.

Oh but Octavius is tightening it up a little... HowGSPSaysIt has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! HowGSPSaysIt reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! HowGSPSaysIt taps out! nice BJJ there by Octavius!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Paxton wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Paxton lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Halford falls backwards - clearly groggy! Paxton dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Tarsun is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Tarsun gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Tarsun gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Tarsun apologises and we restart here on the feet.
