The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Stark.

Valentine throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stark was covering up waiting for the punch and Valentine finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Stark is wriggling around but Valentine manages to pass to half guard.
Stark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Valentine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Coimbra shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Arfadzan's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
