Valo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Valo will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Anderson up against the cage.
Anderson fails to pull guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Valo creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Anderson with a big uppercut! Anderson tries to clinch up but Valo pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Anderson to the mat! Anderson covers up and Valo unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tapio Valo!
During a confident post fight interview, Tapio Valo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
