Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Guilherme Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves's entrance music is Guerreiro by Curumin. A fine choice. Guilherme Alves had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rubey lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Santos has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Santos and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rubey shoots in looking for a takedown. Santos tries to sprawl out of it but Rubey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Santos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
