Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phill Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cosma Svendsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks's entrance music is Cult Of Personality. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Svendsen's choice of entrance music: Rocky. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks throws a sloppy body shot
and Svendsen counters with a one-two to the body.
A combination from Brooks does no damage.
Svendsen is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Svendsen darts in looking for a takedown but Brooks gets double underhooks and turns Svendsen into the cage.
Brooks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Brooks has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Svendsen uses from the top position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Palms is stinking the place up with his stalling.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Heron Palms.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Palms, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Howell scores with a big shot! Alonso's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Alonso! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
