Makinwa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kai.
Makinwa bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kai's head.
Kai throws a body punch but Makinwa moves out of range.
Kai uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Kai pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Makinwa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Makinwa scores with a nice strike.
Makinwa finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Makinwa connects with a right hand. Kai shakes it off.
Good leg kick by Makinwa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Makinwa throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kai takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Makinwa throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Kai stumbling backwards into the cage! Kai bounces back off the cage towards Makinwa, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Makinwa lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Makinwa celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
