Granger comes to the cage accompanied by Stop Bitin' - Abstract Rude. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Granger moves away.
Grant wants to clinch up but Granger keeps it at a distance.
Grant takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Granger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Granger lands a head kick!
Granger dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Grant. That did some damage!

and Granger counters with a nice uppercut.

Granger keeps the fight on the outside.
Grant tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Granger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Granger screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

After winning the bout, Pete Granger thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
