McConor lands a nice shot to the body.
McConor shoots in looking for a takedown but Akbar manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McConor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Akbar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McConor defends well and Akbar ends up having to push McConor into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Greg McConor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McConor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fighters circle, before Diaz throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Bisping's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Diaz lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herring doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Santos counter with a right hand.
Herring shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Santos as he avoids it easily.
Santos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Herrings jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Herring throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Santos was covering up waiting for the punch and Herring finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Santos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Herring in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Herring sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Santos's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Heath Herring decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

I think Jung might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jiu Jitsu. Maksim comes into a darkened arena with his song building. RUSSIA ANTHEM kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Jung on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Maksim tries to close the distance and clinch but Jung swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jung might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jung got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maksim has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jung has managed to get both his arms back between Maksim's legs - danger averted.

Jung stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maksim swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Maksim isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jung stacks Maksim on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jung!

Maksim is not content to let Jung control the position.

Jung drops back looking for a leg! Maksim is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maksim manages to kick Jung off! Jung jumps back into Maksim's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Hop Sing Jung will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
