The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Necas looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Necas is looking to advance position but Hofmann won't allow it.

Necas seems to be working for a kimura but Hofmann defends the submission attempt.
Necas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hofmann has hold of Necas's hands but Necas slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
