Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brody's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, my name is mud. Weber has chosen We Are The Union - We Don't Care If Yesterday Burns, Stoke Up The Fire as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brody shoots in looking for a takedown. Weber tries to sprawl out of it but Brody keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Weber manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Weber throws a series of punches but Brody avoids them all with ease.

Brody bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Al Hamad lands a jab to News's midsection.
Al Hamad connects with a superb combination that knocks News out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Al Hamad before he can land any more shots to the unconscious News!

Nasser Al Hamad spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

He tries to recover but Banner pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Wyatt is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Flay looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Beast with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Flay has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Beast is looking for a sweep. Flay is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Flay is taking a breather. Beast says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

I would just about give that final round to Tantalus Flay.
