Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Palya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Ocheda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Palya had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ocheda misses with an uppercut. Palya saw that one coming.
As Ocheda tries to get set, Palya tries to push him back and clinch up but Ocheda manages to avoid the attempt.
Ocheda attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Palya tries to clinch up but Ocheda circles away and keeps his distance.

Ocheda moves into the clinch.

Ocheda manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Palya wants to control from the top but Ocheda keeps moving.
Palya has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Palya is really struggling to control Ocheda but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Palya throws an elbow that misses. Ocheda uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Palya's guard. Nice move by Ocheda!

Palya has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ocheda can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

A less than humble Klas Micropop misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
