Romero throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown attempt by Romero or perhaps it was just good defense by Dacascos, which made it look bad.
Dacascos swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Dacascos dips a shoulder and cracks Romero with a mighty uppercut! Romero falls back against the cage and Dacascos unloads with a barrage of strikes! Romero is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Dacascos screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Pecayo dives in for a single leg takedown but Kiba sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
