Oooooh!!! Cao has knocked Edgar down with a huge combo! Cao steps away and waves a wobbly Edgar back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Frankie Edgar has been cut.
Cao throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Edgar crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Kampmann throws a head punch that misses.
Kampmann lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pol backwards.
Pol misses with some punches.

Kampmann escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pol moves to clinch but Kampmann breaks away
and Kampmann connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kampmann will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pol pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kampmann throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pol stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pol throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kampmann counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Van Pol has been cut.
Pol uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kampmann.
Kampmann connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Pol tumbling to the canvas! Kampmann pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Pol was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Martin Kampmann!
