Art Crocker had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Crocker throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Van Buuren lands a nice shot that snaps Crocker's head back.

Koch drops The Meth Addict with a huge uppercut! The Meth Addict drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Koch is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Toresson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spong kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Can't be touched. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toresson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Spong scores with a nice head shot.
Toresson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Spong.
Spong shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Toresson eats them both and turns towards Spong to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Kim Toresson has been cut.
Toresson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Toresson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Spong's guard.
Spong is looking to stand up but Toresson isn't so interested in that idea.
Toresson looking to pass the guard.
Toresson controlling from the top position.
Toresson tries to free his leg and advance position but Spong is retaining full guard.
Toresson won't allow Spong to get back to his feet.

Toresson drops back looking for a leg! Spong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spong manages to kick Toresson off! Toresson jumps back into Spong's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Spong wants to stand and escape but Toresson is having none of it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spong working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Toresson.
Toresson stays in close to Spong's body and controls the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Spong scores with a hook to the body. Toresson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Spong misses with the combination.
Spong throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Spong ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've been told by Spong's head coaches at Netherlands Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A jab lands there for Spong.
Spong throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Toresson on the side of the head.

Toresson throws a lazy head kick
and Spong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Spong scores with a nice right hand.
Spong throws a jab when Toresson was well out of range.
Spong swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Toresson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Spong to the mat! Spong manages to get full guard.

Spong has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Toresson is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Spong tries to break free but Toresson pushes him back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Spong.
Spong misses with the head strike.
Spong wants to get back to striking at distance but Toresson won't allow it.
Spong prevents the takedown attempt.
Spong is trying to break free.
Spong lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Toresson or not.
Spong lands a hook to the side of the head.
Spong lands with a light punch inside.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Toresson wants the takedown. Spong is fighting it off but Toresson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Spong's guard against the cage.
Spong wants to stand but Toresson is controlling the position.
Toresson sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Spong wants to stand up but Toresson is controlling him.
Toresson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Toresson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Spong is keeping the position for now.
Toresson trying to control the position from guard on top but Spong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Spong bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Toresson's head backwards.
Toresson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Spong is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Spong looks to throw the jab but Toresson is out of range.
Tyrone Spong is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Spong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Toresson dives in for a single leg takedown but Spong sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A head kick misses from Toresson.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Spong, as that shot connected.
Spong fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Toresson on the side of the head.

Toresson is rocked!
Spong cracks Toresson with a left hook right on the temple and Toresson goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Spong lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Toresson is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tyrone Spong!
Our winner, Tyrone Spong, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Dale comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Killing in the name of kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dale looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hunt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hunt swings for the body but Dale moves out of range.
Dale shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Dale throws a lazy uppercut
and Hunt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dale ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunt moves away.
Dale just misses with a punch to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Hunt. Those never looked like landing.
Jab, jab by Hunt - just one landing.
Dale looks to score with a jab to the body but Hunt is just out of range.
Hunt throwing a counter right hand but Dale manages to avoid it.
Hunt ducks under a wild hook from Dale.
Hunt just misses with a punch to the body.
Dale throws a head kick that misses
and Hunt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dale misses with a hook. Hunt ducked under it nicely.
Hunt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dale.
Hunt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Dale tries to bum rush Hunt with a series of wild strikes but Hunt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hunt bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dale's head.

Dale rushes Hunt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Dale misses with an elbow strike.
Come on Hunt - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Dale lands an elbow inside that Hunt shrugs off.
Hunt lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dale backwards.

Hunt jumps guard and drags Dale to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Dale looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hunt has a closed guard, preventing Dale from standing up.

Dale is posturing up here but Hunt has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Dale tries to roll out but it's too tight and Dale has to tap! Slick submission there by Hunt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Paul Hunt!
Paul Hunt tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
The defeated Kyson Dale had this to say: 'I will be back, bigger and stronger! '.
