Heyward throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Heyward throws a nice looking combination but Way bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Way checks a low kick from Heyward.
Heyward looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Heyward scores with a jab to the head.
Heyward throws a right hand that Way ducks under and follows up with a left that Way also avoids with ease.
Way tries to bum rush Heyward with a series of wild strikes but Heyward uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Way takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Way darts in looking for a takedown but Heyward gets double underhooks and turns Way into the cage.

Way shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Heyward napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Way has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Heyward is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Way yanks on the arm and Heyward is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Way.

Carmichael fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fredholm avoids it really well and circles away.

Fredholm wants to stand but Carmichael is controlling his posture from full guard.
Carmichael seems to have got his legs back now.
Carmichael controls Fredholm momentarily but Fredholm frees himself.

Fredholm has gone for a leg lock! Carmichael slips out almost immediately though and dives into Fredholm's guard.

Carmichael seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Carmichael lying in Fredholm's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Fredholm decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Carmichael taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Horrible takedown attempt by Ignacio or perhaps it was just good defense by Pope, which made it look bad.
Robo Pope seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ignacio throws a series of strikes that have Pope backpedaling.

It looks like Robo Pope has been cut.
Ignacio connects with a nice cross there... Pope is looking wobbly and Ignacio recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Pope to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Ignacio jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ryan Ignacio opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

A decent looking cross lands there for McNulty.

McNulty clinches up with Mishima and pushes him back against the cage.
Mishima blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Mishima is trying to drag McNulty to the mat but McNulty just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Mishima jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McNulty walks away with a smile on his face. Mishima gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
McNulty lands a jab to the nose.
McNulty misses with a looping right.
Good standup being displayed there by McNulty as he connects with a hook.
Mishima moves forwards but McNulty connects with a nice, crisp jab.

McNulty drives through with a takedown into guard.

McNulty got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mishima has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McNulty has managed to get both his arms back between Mishima's legs - danger averted.

Bill has an Americana. Shinra didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bill is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bill hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Berdich or perhaps it was just good defense by Landeverde, which made it look bad.

Landeverde shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Berdich napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Berdich tries to buck Landeverde off but Landeverde is having none of it.

Landeverde wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Berdich, who protects the arm well.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Landeverde working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Berdich is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Landeverde's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Berdich is looking for a triangle but Landeverde pushes his legs off easily.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Landeverde and the ref steps in to end the fight! Landeverde can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
