The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deeds looks to land a combination but Kingsley avoids it well.
Deeds throws a hook but Kingsley blocks it.
A little jabbing left from Kingsley on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Deeds throws the left hand but Kingsley avoids the punch easily.
Deeds tries a low kick but Kingsley avoids it.
Kingsley appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Kingsley slips under a jab from Deeds.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kingsley has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Deeds motions for Kingsley to come forward. Deeds throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Galasso might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Vogler has got the better of the exchanges.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Reidar Vedhult (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reidar Vedhult had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Trejo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Trejo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
