The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Molotok feints and as Britva raises his hands in defense, Molotok changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Molotok content to stall in guard here.
Molotok stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Britva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Molotok told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Britva seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Molotok for as long as he can get away with.

Britva has hold of Molotok's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Molotok manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

McCurnin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Teixeira.
McCurnin misses with a low kick.
Teixeira has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Teixeira misses with a hook. McCurnin ducked under it nicely.
Teixeira takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Paul Teixeira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCurnin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Teixeira swats him away and circles back towards the center.

McCurnin is trying to defend against the choke here but Teixeira has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Teixeira Tightens the hold and McCurnin taps out furiously! Teixeira displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Yonder throws a low kick but Hallman moves out of range easily.
Yonder seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Appleseed looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
