The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blasted shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcveigh pinned against the ropes. Mcveigh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mcveigh swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Mcveigh is looking to defend but Blasted has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mcveigh! Blasted pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mcveigh taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mitchell tries to avoid it but Miller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mitchell to the ground. Mitchell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Miller looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Mitchell shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Miller manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Hoover throws a head kick that misses.

That kick from Poe tenderised Hoover's leg. Hoover is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hoover takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hoover takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hoover works Poe's body with a nice hook.
Hoover throws a series of punches but Poe moves out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Poe! But no joy.

Hoover throws out a loose jab but Poe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Poe lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Hoover connects with a good right hand that stumbles Poe. Poe circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hoover tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Poe was well out of range. Poor timing from Hoover.
Poe lands a glancing blow to the side of Hoover's head.
Poe lands with a thumping leg kick.
Poe connects with a leg kick. Hoover looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Hoover has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Poe finds it's way round the side to connect with Hoover's head.
Poe steps in with a hook that catches Hoover right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Poe follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Hoover looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 5, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cameron Poe! Cameron Poe retains his welterweight title!
