The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turpa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pike wants to counter the offense by Turpa and move into the clinch position.
Turpa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Turpa throws a sloppy head kick and Pike moves out of range easily.
Pike wants to counter with a clinch but Turpa pushes him away.
Pike pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Turpa finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Turpa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Turpa is breathing heavily.

Turpa takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Turpa seems a little lost for a moment, as Pike dominates the positioning.
Pike lands a strong strike to the head of Turpa. That's dazed him! Pike looking to finish here. Turpa is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Pike lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
