The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cohle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cohle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Cohle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tyunduer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Cohle postures up in Tyunduer's guard and throws a big left but Tyunduer blocks it.

Cohle is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Tyunduer has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cohle is looking to defend but Tyunduer has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cohle! Tyunduer pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cohle taps out and this one is all over!

Anderson stuffs the takedown attempt from Mi. Mi gets slowly back to his feet.
Mi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anderson's waist but Anderson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mi off to one side.
Mi scores with a nice right hand.
Mi is looking to clinch but Anderson is avoiding it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mi.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chang Mi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Anderson defends it nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mi is taking a breather. Anderson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Anderson desperately trying to maintain half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Mi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anderson pinned against the cage. Anderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mi lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chang Mi dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Anderson clinches up with Mi and pushes him back against the cage.

Mi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Anderson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anderson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Anderson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Anderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mi thows a huge punch but Anderson dodges it nicely.

Oh Mi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Anderson smiles and moves away.
Anderson steps in with a hook that catches Mi right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Anderson follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Mi looks absolutely devastated.
