The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ikeda has a takedown stuffed.
Gontier feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Gontier throws a sloppy head kick and Ikeda moves out of range easily.
Gontier walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ikeda checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Gontier pushes Ikeda up against the cage in a clinch.
Gontier definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Ikeda has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gontier is trying to keep an underhook but Ikeda manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Gontier manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Ikeda keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Gontier changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ikeda fights it off and pushes away nicely.
