The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bee shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jenkins has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bee is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Jenkins's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jenkins duly obliges.

It looks like Harold Bee has been cut.
Bee closes the distance and clinches up with Jenkins, looking for a takedown. Bee pushes Jenkins against the cage but Jenkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Harold Bee.
I think Jenkins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Rockhard shoots for a double leg takedown but Montez sprawls well. He's pushed Rockhard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Montez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Montez tries to stand but can't do so whilst Rockhard controls his leg.

A very excited looking Richard Rockhard rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Franjik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson Colt had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
