Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Qasem Suleijmani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Holliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qasem Suleijmani had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Arnold.
Amuo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Arnold throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Amuo tries a head kick but it misses.
Amuo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Amuo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Arnold circles away quickly and effectively.
Amuo cracks a nice hook into Arnold's ribs.
Amuo's coach down at The Highland Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Amuo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Arnold goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Kusi Amuo has been cut.

Arnold cracks Amuo with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Amuo tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Arnold pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Amuo is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Brooks lands a jab-cross combination.
Brooks shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Brooks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Brooks.
Silva takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brooks sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.

Brooks closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Brooks throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
