Arnavut Sevket dominated that second round.
That's time! Sevket's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Sevket lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Askren moves to clinch but Sevket breaks away
and Sevket counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Sevket blocks the body kick.
Askren scores with a hook to the body. Sevket takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Askren slips a straight right by Sevket.
Sevket looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Sevket counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sevket ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Askren moves away.
Askren is looking to clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Sevket on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Askren bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sevket's head backwards.

Askren looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Sevket takes a swing at Askren's ribcage but misses.
Sevket swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Askren.
Askren throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Askren takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Askren scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sevket in his tracks.
Sevket misses the shot to the body.
Sevket fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Askren lands with a nice combination. Sevket backs away looking to recover.
Sevket ducks under a wild hook from Askren.

Askren shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sevket is trying to defend but Askren finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sevket tries to roll over but Askren keeps him under control.
Askren moves nicely into side control.
Askren misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Askren creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sevket sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Sevket tries to buck Askren off but Askren is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Sevket's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sevket manages to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Askren works his way into full mount!
Askren throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Sevket tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sevket has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Askren's lack of action.
Askren looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sevket regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Askren.
Askren sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sevket's guard.

Askren is pressing down on Sevket's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sevket is holding on for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Askren trying to control the position from guard on top but Sevket is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
