The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Calaeabius shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Masakazu's guard.

Masakazu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Calaeabius stands up over Masakazu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Masakazu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Calaeabius defends it easily.
Calaeabius knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Masakazu on the ground.

Masakazu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Calaeabius is aware though and is defending well.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miles Darby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocky Balboa had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Benvenuti connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Hurmaaja tumbling to the canvas! Benvenuti pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Hurmaaja was done - good stoppage!

After winning the bout, Massimo Benvenuti thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
