The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jin avoids the head kick by Malaks.
Jin tries to counter by clinching up but Malaks breaks away and moves out of range.
Jin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Malaks throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jin changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Malaks throws a leg kick but Jin checks it.

Malaks lands a big head kick that sends Jin tumbling to the mat! Malaks takes a step backwards and waves Jin back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Devil Jin has been cut.
Malaks cracks Jin on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jin falls backwards against the cage. Malaks follows up with more strikes that drop Jin to his knees. Malaks keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jin! This one is all over!

After the fight, Bernardo Muriel was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
