The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guru shoots in for a takedown but Motson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Motson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Guru tries to score a power double leg takedown but Motson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Guru somewhat.
Motson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Guru.

Guru drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
John Motson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ground Guru.

Guru has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Motson uses from the top position.

Motson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Guru has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Motson is looking to defend but Guru has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Motson! Guru pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Motson taps out and this one is all over!

A less than humble Ground Guru misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
