The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alderich throws a sloppy head kick and Back moves out of range easily.
Alderich throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Alderich throws a push kick but Back slaps the foot to one side.
Back steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Alderich.
Alderich throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Back lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Alderich has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Alderich and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Liber Alderich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Back's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Sutherland has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mitchell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sutherland manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mitchell closes the distance and clinches up with Sutherland, looking for a takedown. Mitchell pushes Sutherland against the cage but Sutherland circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

He tries to recover but Tyrone pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Jackson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
