Smith blocks a low kick nicely.
Smith stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from BigBranch.
Smith on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
BigBranch lands a leg kick that knocks Smith off balance momentarily.

BigBranch has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bardanos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bardanos wants it to stay on the feet.

I think Sackett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to RATM: Killing in the Name. Sunuwar has chosen Peace Sells as his entrance music. Sunuwar has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sackett is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Sackett throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Sackett makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Sunuwar has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Sackett cracks Sunuwar with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Sunuwar falls to his knees and Sackett doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
