Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Avalon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harri Mulqvist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Avalon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Harder Better Faster - Daft Punk. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Avalon lands a nice shot to the body.
Mulqvist pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Avalon closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mulqvist to the mat! Mulqvist manages to get full guard.
Avalon wants to control from the top but Mulqvist keeps moving.
Avalon forces his way into half guard.
Avalon is thwarting Mulqvist's attempts to control the position.

Mulqvist swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Avalon is now in Mulqvist's guard. A big mistake from Mulqvist there, giving up the dominant position!

Mulqvist working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Avalon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Avalon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
