The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tikkanen is controlling Knott's position as best he can from this difficult position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tikkanen can do anything to dispel that myth.

Knott is trying to work for a kimura but Tikkanen is defending well.
Tikkanen avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Knott.
Knott takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Tikkanen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Knott seems to be looking for submissions.

Knott is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Tikkanen with him. Tikkanen is trying to defend but Knott has an arm under the chin now! Tikkanen grimaces and is forced to tap out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Percius tenderised Groper's leg. Groper is trying to keep his angry face on.
Percius scoring well with a low kick there.
Percius slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Percius lands a leg kick that knocks Groper off balance momentarily.
Percius connects with an inside leg kick.
Percius connects with a nice looking jab.
Percius throws a low kick but it's checked well by Groper.
Groper tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Groper tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Percius defends well and Groper ends up having to push Percius into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Groper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Percius tries to avoid it but Groper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Percius to the ground. Percius escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Percius moves into range and connects with a jab.
Decent striking displayed by Percius there.
Groper doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Percius counters with a low kick, right behind Groper 's knee.
Paradox Percius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Groper.
Percius lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Percius catches Groper with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Percius is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Sweat, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Groper looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Percius wants to pass the guard but Groper is keeping the position.

You can see the frustration on Groper's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Percius is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Groper is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Percius has an Americana. Groper didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Percius is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Percius hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gatmaitan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Proctor lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Gatmaitan to his knees! Proctor keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Bauch is trying to escape back to his feet but Franks uses the scramble to pass into side control.
