The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauvage is looking to clinch.
Deathgrip will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Deathgrip chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sauvage can pounce on him.
Deathgrip fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sauvage tries to counter with a clinch but Deathgrip shakes him off and moves away.

Sauvage clinches up with Deathgrip and pushes him back against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sauvage creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Deathgrip has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sauvage is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Sauvage wants the takedown. Deathgrip is fighting it off but Sauvage persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Deathgrip's guard against the cage.
Sauvage distracts Deathgrip with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sauvage keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Deathgrip's head.

Sauvage gets to his feet and stands over Deathgrip, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Deathgrip felt that one! Sauvage unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Deathgrip from any more punishment!

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bleh Wha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rai Leonardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). He arrived on a last minute flight shortly after looking tired and unhappy. Officials decided the fight should still take place, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.
