Maycon fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Alberts looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Alberts fails with an attempt to clinch.
Maycon scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Maycon lands with an overhand left.
Maycon throws a series of punches but Alberts avoids them all with ease.
Maycon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Grimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevenson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Biggie Hypnotize. Denis Stevenson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Bullard displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Checker throws out the jab.

Bullard darts in and clinches Checker up against the cage.
Checker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bullard lands with a left to the head.
Bullard pushes Checker back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Bullard goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Bullard has a couple of punches blocked by Checker.
Checker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Bullard lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Checker backwards.
Checker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Bullard misses with a short punch on the inside.
Bullard is leaning against Checker and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Checker blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bullard lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Checker or not.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Checker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Checker is trying to force a seperation but Bullard has the dominant position.

Bullard lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Checker to his knees! Bullard keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Tony Bullard was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
