The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
May rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gromov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gromov lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like JJ May has been cut.
That kick from Gromov tenderised May's leg. May is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sloppy strikes from May. Those never looked like landing.

May moves into range and clinches up with Gromov.

May breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
