The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clint throws a leg kick that is checked
and Odinson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Clint is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Clint lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Thor Odinson has been cut.

Odinson instigates a clinch.

Odinson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Odinson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Clint.
Clint avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clint throws a body punch but Odinson moves out of range.

Clint drops his shoulder and cracks Odinson with a huge uppercut! Odinson goes down! Can Clint finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bagler's coach down at Finch Farm was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bagler's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry shoots in but Kane avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kane dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Perry . That did some damage!

Kane gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kane misses with a punch on the inside.
Kane lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Perry backwards.
Kane gets underhooks to prevent Perry 's takedown attempt.
Perry 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Kane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Perry bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kane is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Perry asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Perry just content to control the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Perry goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Kane rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Perry 's guard! Nice work there by Kane!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johns gets caught flat footed, as Monthan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Johns is on top in guard.


Johns drops back looking for a leg! Monthan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Monthan manages to kick Johns off! Johns jumps back into Monthan's guard.
Monthan pulls Johns in to control the position.
Johns won't allow Monthan to get back to his feet.
Johns is pushing down on Monthan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Monthan is fighting to maintain full guard but Johns has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johns seems to be working for a kimura but Monthan defends the submission attempt.

Reed fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blake avoids it really well and circles away.
Blake tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Reed takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Reed tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Blake counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Reed is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Blake scores with a couple of nice shots.
Reed is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blake working Reed over with strikes.
Blake wants to pass the guard but Reed is defending well.
Blake throwing shots but Reed is blocking nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reed wants to control but Blake is keeping busy.
Reed tries to kick Blake off but Blake keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Blake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like Willum Reed has been cut.
Blake cracks Reed with a solid left hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blake working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Reed's head.
Blake lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Reed is trying to stand up here but Blake is controlling him well.

Blake stops Reed from getting back to his feet.
Reed on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Reed is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Finch Farm, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Reed tries to get to full guard but Blake has control of the leg.
Blake is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Willum Reed's cut is getting worse.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blake connects with a nice short shot to Reed's temple.

Willum Reed's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Blake is nestled in close to Reed, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Reed is rocked!

Jeez, Willum Reed's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Willum Reed's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
