Body feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michel shoots in for a takedown but McGregor shows good takedown defense.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Wad closes the distance and clinches.

Alarm is trying to pull guard but Wad turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wad.
Wad throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Alarms head.

Alarm blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Alarm is trying to pull guard but Wad has him pressed against the cage.
Wad lands a left hand.
Wad scores with a shoulder strike.
Alarm tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dick Wad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rape Alarm.
