The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seraphim checks a low kick from Akuapehuale.
And Seraphim tries to counter it with a takedown but Akuapehuale pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Akuapehuale connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Seraphim momentarily.

It looks like JC Seraphim has been cut.
Akuapehuale lands a nice shot that snaps Seraphim's head back.
Akuapehuale darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Seraphim is rocked!
Akuapehuale throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Seraphim tries to close the distance and clinch up but Akuapehuale swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Akuapehuale ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Macak as he jumps to the side.

Macak throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pinto was covering up waiting for the punch and Macak finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Macak trying to control the position from guard on top but Pinto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pinto can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Macak controls the pace.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pinto can do anything to dispel that myth.

Macak passes Pinto's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Pinto moves into full guard.

Macak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pinto on the ground.
Macak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Macak flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Macak is looking to control Pinto's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Macak avoid being mounted?

Pinto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Macak is just riding it out for now. Pinto eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sead Macak will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Pinto throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Macak's waist but Macak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pinto off to one side.

Brutal finish.
