The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brinkley wants to clinch
and Trent counters with a left and a right that stings Brinkley.

Brinkley delivers a nice body kick.
Brinkley throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Wilfred Trent has been cut.
Brinkley moves in looking to clinch but Trent pushes him off.
Trent now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Trent swats away the attempt to clinch by Brinkley.
Brinkley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Brinkley takes the fight into the clinch.
Trent is trying to drag Brinkley to the mat but Brinkley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Trent blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Trent gets control of Brinkley's arms and successfully pulls guard. Trent will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Trent looking for a triangle here. Brinkley is fighting it but it looks tight! Trent pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Brinkley is tapping out - this one is all over!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Niilo Hamalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlito Barzini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamalainen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Face the Pain. Carlito Barzini will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamalainen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Barzini defends well and Hamalainen ends up having to push Barzini into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hamalainen darts in looking for a takedown but Barzini gets double underhooks and turns Hamalainen into the cage.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hamalainen or perhaps it was just good defense by Barzini, which made it look bad.
Barzini feints the counter takedown.

Hamalainen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Barzini has gone for a leg lock! Hamalainen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Barzini's guard.


Hamalainen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Barzini to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hamalainen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Barzini pulls down on the head and he's put Hamalainen to sleep! This one is all over!

Silakka looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Silakka closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ankward quickly recovers to half guard.
