The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald throws a body shot but no joy.
McDonald closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Klemen digs a good hook to McDonald's body.
McDonald's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Klemen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! McDonald scrambles back to his feet.
Klemen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Klemen changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Klemen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McDonald doesn't seem bothered though.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that McDonald has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McDonald walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles McDonald limp body while Klemen jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Adel Klemen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pierre lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Toussaint has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Toussaint and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Toussaint pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pierre back to the cage. Toussaint follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Natanael fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carvalho sprawls well initially but Natanael persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Carvalho is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Natanael pulls his head out easily.
Natanael working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Natanael has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Carvalho defend it? Natanael steps over the head and cranks it - Carvalho is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Natanael!

Slenderman Creeper decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
