Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Balboa throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Thomas on the side of the head.
Thomas dives in for a single leg takedown but Balboa sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lewis enables Vampa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lewis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Vampa not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Vampa distracts Lewis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

During a confident post fight interview, Luigi Vampa thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Ryan Lewis spoke after the fight, saying '"Umm, Luigi was a very good opponent. Its not the debut that I actually wanted, or expected to happen but losses come and go. What matters most is that I learn from my mistake, and train harder. I respect Luigi, he was a very good fighter and he deserved the win but I want to thank you all for lett'.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Silvestre is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Sawyer flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sawyer is out cold! Silvestre holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Lucian Silvestre seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
