The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Heath darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
MCconnor takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Heath has taken the fight to the clinch.
Heath lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Heath lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Heath lands a right hand that snaps the head of MCconnor backwards.
Heath lands with a right to the head.
A short uppercut from Heath.
Heath presses MCconnor against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Heath has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Terra paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Terra looks to throw the jab but Husky is out of range.
Terra throws out a leg kick but Husky moves out of range and Terra only half commits.
Husky moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Terra throws a series of punches but Husky moves out of range.
Husky tests Terra's chin there with a solid looking shot.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Terra bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Husky tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Terra wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Terra tries to score with some ground and pound. Husky controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Husky wants to control but Terra postures up.
Terra throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Terra creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Husky sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Husky has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Terra in side control, throwing shots but Husky defends.

Terra is working to tighten his grip on Husky's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Husky has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Terra is really squeezing tight and eventually Husky passes out! Terra breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

McCracken ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hunt takes a body punch but keeps moving.
McCracken works the jab nicely.

Yuri Boshtok seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Raymond Holt was interviewed post fight and said 'It was a short notice fight, but I really wanted to take that chance and climb the rankings quick, but I guess I fell short. Yuri is a great fighter and he deserved this win. I'll continue fighting and someday I know I'll get to the top'.
